FAQ

The questions engineers ask before wiring in.

  • What counts as a row for billing?

A row is one record a run returns. Retries, empty pages and failed requests are never billed.

  • What happens if a run fails midway?

The run stops at the last committed cursor. Resume from it and you are billed once for the rows you keep.

  • Can the wire contract change on me?

Only additively. A breaking shape ships as a new version, and the old one keeps serving until you move.

  • How do scoped keys and quotas work?

A key carries an actor allowlist and its own quota, so a leaked key cannot reach the rest of the account.

  • What rate limits apply per key?

Sixty requests a minute and four concurrent runs per actor. Both lift on request, per key.

  • Can we self-host the whole stack?

Yes. Core and every actor ship as containers on a commercial licence, gated by the same golden vectors.

  • How does support actually work?

A shared channel on paid plans, mail otherwise. Wire bugs get a fix or a workaround inside a day.
